Zone Profile and Development
Khairpur Special Economic Zone (KSEZ) is a 140-acre industrial zone established by the Government of Sindh to promote investment, industrialization, exports and employment in northern Sindh.
Its PC-I was approved in January 2010, SEZ status was granted under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2012 in February 2014, and the development scheme was completed in June 2022. Sindh Economic Zones Management Company assumed administrative management and developer responsibilities in July 2022.

Strategically located near Tando Nazar Ali along the N-5 National Highway, KSEZ accommodates industries across three principal sectors:
Agro-Food
Date processing, flour milling, food manufacturing, poultry feed, cold storage, agricultural processing, packaging and value-added food industries.
Agro-Non-Food
Agricultural biotechnology, plant-based extracts, biomass products and non-food applications of agricultural resources.
Light Engineering
Industrial fabrication, machinery activities, equipment assembly, maintenance services and supporting manufacturing operations.

Located within Pakistan's leading date-producing region, KSEZ enables enterprises to access locally available dates, wheat, fruits and other agricultural resources close to their source.
